Description
In joint, articular cartilage acts as a shock absorber in between the bone ends, and as a layer to prevent damages to the underlying bones.
The structure of cartilage consists mostly of specific cells, chondrocytes, different types of proteins and water. Glucosamine, a naturally existing substance in the body, is one of the basic elements in cartilage proteins. Vitamin C is needed for the normal formation of collagen for normal function of cartilage.
Food supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Dosage
For adults 1–2 tablets a day swallowed with water. Not suitable for children or pregnant or lactating women. May cause allergic reactions to people allergic to shellfish.
Composition
The recommended daily dose 1–2 tablets contains:
Glucosamine sulfate 750–1500 mg,
of which glucosamine 600–1200 mg
Vitamin C 50–100 mg
Ingredients:
Glucosamine sulphate (crustacean), bulking agents (microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose), vitamin C (Ascorbic acid), glazing agents (hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, isomalt, magnesium salts of fatty acids), colour (calcium carbonate), anti-caking agents (silicon dioxide).
