Food supplement. Beta-carotene tablet.
Beta-carotene is a natural carotenoid, which is mostly abundant in red, orange, yellow and dark green vegetables and fruits. Beta-carotene is called a provitamin A because it is converted into vitamin A if vitamin A storage levels are low in the body. Vitamin A is good for the skin as it contributes to maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes.
Karovit supplementation can be taken for 1-2 weeks before a holiday on the sunny beach or exposure to the sun. The supplementation can be continued for 1-2 weeks after the trip. However, use of sun lotion with a high SPF for prevention of sun burn is recommendable when tanning.
USAGE
A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a dry place at room temperature. Not for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
DOSAGE
For adults 1 tablet daily swallowed with water.

corresponding to vitamin A 1000 µg RE (125%*)

Ingredients
Maize starch, bulking agent (cellulose), beta-carotene (vitamin A), anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide), emulcifier (magnesiumsalts of fatty acids).
Renewed composition
The composition of the Karovit beta-carotene tablet has been renewed. The beta-carotene preparation used as the product’s raw material has changed, which can be seen in the renewed product as a change in the color of the tablets. The previous color of the Karovit tablet was orange. Due to the change the new tablet is lighter in color and beta-carotene appears in the tablet as dark spots. The beta-carotene content of the product remains unchanged.
