Vita C Kids 100 mg is a delicious and crisp cherry-orange flavored vitamin C supplement for children. The product is suitable for big and small children from the age of one year old. The tasty chewable tablet is sweetened only with xylitol. It is suitable for everyday use or taken as a regimen.
The daily need for vitamin C varies according to age.
Children:
6–11 months: 20 mg/day
12–23 months: 25 mg/day
2–5 years: 30 mg/day
6–9 years: 40 mg/day
10–13 years: 50 mg/day
Children under six months get enough vitamin C from breast milk or infant formula.
Dosing
For children under 3 years of age, 1 tablet per day, and for children over 3 years old, 1-3 tablets per day. The tablet should be chewed or allowed to dissolve slowly in the mouth. Make sure your child can eat the tablet safely. The tablet can also be crushed. The recommended daily dose must not be exceeded.
