Vitabalans Sinkki Zn is a strawberry and rasberry falvoured chewing tablet. Zinc is a vital mineral as it plays many important roles in the body. Zinc is needed for normal growth (has a role in normal cell division and DNA synthesis) and development (contributes to normal cognitive function). It is also an important mineral for bones, muscles, skin and nails.
Zinc is important in macro nutrient metabolism because it contributes to the normal carbohydrate and fatty acid metabolism and normal protein synthesis. Zinc affects our body’s defence by maintaining the normal function of the immune system. Zinc is needed for the development, differentiation and function of white blood cells, which are essential part of the immune system for example by forming antibodies.
Zinc enhances normal fertility and reproduction because it is involved in the production and secretion of sex hormones such as testosterone. Zinc is also needed to normal regulation of acid-base metabolism.
Zinc is found in many food sources. It is well-absorbable from meat and fish but from whole grain, cereals, legumes and nuts the presence of fiber and phytate impair zinc absorption. It’s recommended to pay attention to sufficient intake of zinc if one is following a vegan diet.
USAGE
A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a dry place at room temperature. Contains sweeteners. Excessive consumption can have laxative effects.
DOSAGE
1 chewing tablet a day. The tablet can be chewed or let slowly dissolve in the mouth.
