Food supplement. Xylitol-lactic acid bacteria-vitamin D3-chewing tablet.
The estimated weight of the gut microbiota is as much as 1,5 kg. The gut microbiota consists mostly of bacteria, and there are great number of bacterial species: hundreds or even thousands of different species have been identified. Gut microbiota begins to develop from the birth, and development continues until two years of age. After the early years of life, the bacterial composition of the gut microbiota remains rather stable and individual, the most modifying factors are diet and antibiotic treatments. There exists microbial balance in healthy gut microbiota.
LACTO SEVEN CHEW contains seven different natural lactic acid bacterial strains (e.g. Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium species), and vitamin D3. Vitamin D contributes to normal function of the immune system. Chewing tablet has a strawberry-raspberry flavour which tastes great for the whole family.
Bacteria have been protected against stomach acidity
Lacto Seven Chew contains a selection of bacterial strains that are naturally resistant to gastric acid. During the production of bacteria, they have been protected by a special Bio-support™ technology made of proprietary blend of proteins and polysaccharide complex. This technology ensures the survival of the bacteria during manufacturing processes, storage of the final product, and when passing through stomach acidity. The protection guarantees a good viability of the bacteria when they reach the gut. In the intestine the bacteria attach to gut mucosal membranes and colonise.
Usage
Use Lacto Seven Chew every day or for a period of time. Chewing tablet with strawberry-raspberry flavour is suitable for the whole family.
A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a dry place at room temperature. Contains sweeteners. Excessive consumption can have laxative effects.
Please note that small orange-colored or brown spots may appear on the tablets, which is normal for the product. The spots are due to the vitamin C in the product. We do not use a colour-containing coating on the tablets.
Dosage
Adults: 1–2 tablets a day
Children over 1 years: 1 tablet a day.
The tablets can be chewed or let slowly dissolve in the mouth.
